While Melbourne born and raised, Laura has lived in regional Australia for over a decade and is passionate about supporting local communities. She has over 16 years experience working with the Public Service in Australia, including as a Case Officer with the Department of Home Affairs.
She loves learning about things and people, and has studied philosophy, horticulture, textile design, fine arts and sustainability, in addition to her Grad. Dip. in Migration Law & Practice. She is also currently studying an LLB and intends to seek admission to practice as a lawyer when finished.
When not at work, Laura enjoys spending time with her family, both human and animal. She can often be found in her garden and in the kitchen, whipping up meals with skill that *almost* matches her sense of culinary adventure!
